Dee's started as a 400 sq. ft. consignment gift shop in 1970, next to the old Vogue Theatre on Lexington Road. In 1973, Bob and June Vogelsberg, the owners of Dee's, moved their store to Chenoweth Square in St. Matthews to create the beginning of Dee's Crafts and Gifts.

This was the first of a chain of stores which grew to six neighborhood stores in all areas of Louisville.

In 1989, Dee's moved its flagship store to its current location across from the St. Matthews Mall. This 23,000 sq. ft. store has many departments including yarn, beads, scrapbooking, women's accessories, home decor, country gifts, silk flowers and custom picture framing.

Dee's is still a family owned and operated business with Bob and June's daughters, Kathy Olliges and Karen Vogelsberg, currently involved in managing and operating the stores. Our talented staff of over 50 employees is here to serve you.

Dee's has an ever-changing mix of unique merchandise, so "if you haven't seen us lately, you haven't seen us!"
